Have you set up your Google Ads campaign but you would like to add more information to your current Ads? No worries! This is perfectly possible and with rankingCoach is very easy to do. With our Ad extensions option, you can add your address and phone number to your Ads campaign. Keep in mind, however, that the additions explained in this article will be added as an extension and won’t be included as part of the text of your Ad.
To see which extensions you can add, please go to Google Ads on the left menu of your dashboard, and then click on “Extended”.
Scroll down to the “Ads extensions” section to see which options you can activate. Please note that you cannot activate extensions for specific Ads. Once you activate extensions, they will be applied to all the Ads you have selected. However, it does not mean that all the extensions you added will be displayed every time your Ads will be shown. Google will only display them when it is relevant to the search query that triggers the Ad.
Call extensions allow you to add your phone number to an existing Ad. This can be very beneficial for you as it can increase the number of clicks. This can be seen as when the phone number is showing people can click or tap on a button to call you directly, instead of having to dial the whole number themselves.
Make sure that if you want to add your phone number it has to be as a call extension and not in the text. If you place it elsewhere inside your text, it will probably be disapproved by Google and your Ad won’t appear anymore.
Location extensions is a very important feature for local businesses. Adding your location will allow potential customers to easily find you. This will show your Ads with your address, a map to your location or the distance to your business. Users can also click on the extension to get more information about your location in your Google My Business page. There is also the possibility to add more links to your Ads with sitelinks extensions. When visitors click on the added link, they go directly to a specific page on your website. For instance, it can be a product in particular or the contact page.

Please note that in order to be able to add these extensions to your Ads, you need to launch your Ads campaign first.
