rankingCoach allows you to create and manage your Google My business entry easily. But how do you synchronize Google My business in rankingCoach?

Whether you already have an existing Google My Business account or not, in order to synchronize your Google My Business in rankingCoach, you have to do the Google My Business onboarding. 

Click on “reports” and then on “Google My Business” in the left menu of your rankingCoach dashboard (you can also simply click here if you are already logged in to your rankingCoach account). Then click on “Start setup”. 

Follow the steps displayed on your screen: Add a short and a detailed description, opening hours and visuals. Optionally, you can even connect your social media accounts. Once this is done, you will have access to an overview of your data. Please review them to make sure everything is correct and edit them if and when necessary. 

If you have already used the automatic sync in the local directories, you will jump directly to the overview section as you already completed the first steps of the onboarding. 

Once you have checked that your data is correct, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Start setup”. 

rankingCoach will ask you whether you are already managing a Google My Business entry for your company. 

If you already have an existing profile, you will get instructions on how to give us manager access to your entry so that we can connect it to your account. Once you have given us access to your entry, the connection should be made within 48h. Please contact our support team if the connection hasn’t been made within this time frame. 

If you don’t have a profile yet, rankingCoach will create one for you. You will have to verify your location using one of the verification methods at your disposal.

Once your Google my business account has been successfully synchronized in rankingCoach, the status will look like this : 

You can check this in the report section of your account when you click on “Google My Business”.
